European People's Party urges to boycott Ice Hockey World Cup-2014
The biggest party in the EP stands against conducting of the Ice Hockey World Cup -2014 in our country.
Author: Euroradio 22.02.2012 10:39This is stated in the EPP's resolution, adopted by the Political Assembly on February 9. The document says that it is unclear why Belarus is to host a sportive event of the world level. The EPP reminds that sport should convey the joy of freedom, pluralism and unity.
In case the decision to cancel the Ice Hockey World Cup in Belarus is not taken, the EPP urges all hockey federations of the EU countries and other democratic states to boycott these games.
