A ski run opens in Homel (photo)

It is located behind the river Sozh, and there are many people willing to ski there already.

The ski run goes through a small forest, its length is about 2,5 kilometers, with some hills.

 

 

This forest used to be neglected and wild, when at last the authorities started cutting down trees and cleaning the territory to build a ski run, back in Summer. Apart from this, artificial lamps have been installed there.

 

 

An advertisement about rental of skiing equipment has been pasted near the entrance to the pedestrian bridge over the river Sozh, the rental point is located at the distance of 15-minutes walk from the bridge. Skiing is free, the lights go out at 10 p.m.

 


Skiers are very grateful to the city authorities for such a present. However, some of them noted that it would be great to organize luggage lockers.
