Average salary drops in November
The average salary in Belarus went down by almost 3 percent in November to
Nominal gross average monthly salary in Belarus in January-November 2014 amounted to 6 millions 27 thousand rubles. In November, it was 6 millions 194 thousand 400 rubles. Compared with October, salary decreased by 2.9%, or 183.5 thousand rubles.
The Real salary (salary adjusted to the growth of consumer prices for goods and services) in January-November 2014, compared with January-November last year, increased by 0.3% in November this year, compared with October 2014, it decreased by 3.5%.
In November 2014, the industry average salary was 6 millions 549.3 thousands, in construction it was 7 million 929.5 thousands, in transport and communications - 6 mmillion 880.3 thousands, in agriculture and forestry 4 millions 641.2 thousands, in education - 4 millions 473.4 thousands, including for teachers 5 millions 415.6 thousands and faculty members - 7 millions 251.1 thousand rubles.
The salary of health workers in November 2014 amounted to 5,266 thousand rubles. The average salary of doctors was 8,426 thousands, nurses - 5, 243.7 thousands, reports the National Statistical Committee.
