EU not to reconsider Russia sanctions
The meeting of the EU committee of permanent representatives was held on Tuesday, October 28.
There is no reason to cancel or reconsider Russia sanctions at the moment, diplomats said. Europe will keep watching the situation in Ukraine, RBK reports. In particular, EU officials will pay attention to the realization of the ceasefire agreement reached in Minsk.
Moscow has already reacted to the decision. The European Union is not mature enough to get out of the sanctions pit and start making independent decisions, Russian permanent representative in the EU Vladimir Chizhov claimed.
