Lukashenka: Our people drink but state pays for their treatment
The state leader has met Minister of Health Vasil Zharko today. Planned amendments to the Law "On healthcare" have been discussed.
Lukashenka demanded to provide the population with quality medical assistance. "Our people are not used to taking care of their health, - BelTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka. – We all know that we would have fallen ill twice as less frequently if we followed doctors' advice. But you can get drunk, break a leg and the state will pay for your treatment..."
"Some people prefer drinking instead of doing sports," the state leader claimed. He is sure that more attention should be paid to Belarusians' healthy life-style.
