Minsk police react to Eurordaio’s report about opium poppy

Nobody was selling poppy seeds there anymore. The seller of opium poppy received a fine of 260 thousand roubles for not giving out a receipt, tut.by reports.

Euroradio reporter Yauhen Valoshyn's investigation described how "poppy seeds from the market could be turned into a drug in 39 minutes" last week. The Minsk City Police Department admits that they spotted that selling point a few years ago, tut.by reports. However, it is impossible to bring charges against people selling poppy seeds since the anti-poppy decree has not been approved yet.
