Putin’s assistant and leaders of ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ travel in same car
The negotiations in Minsk Independence Palace have been in process for 13 hours.
A meeting of ‘the Norman Four’ is being held in Minsk Independence Palace on February 11-12. It is dedicated to the situation in Donets Basin. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President François Hollande, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin are taking part in the negotiations.
Russian President’s assistant Vladislav Surkov and the leaders of the self-declared ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitski have arrived at the contact group meeting in Minsk, RIA Novosti reports.
Surkov and the ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ leaders got out of the same car and headed for the building where the contact group is going to meet.
It has already been reported that the final Minsk summit documents that will be signed by the leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia will be handed over to the trilateral contact group (Ukraine-Russia-OSCE). The latter has been holding meetings in Minsk for two days. The representatives of the self-declared ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ are also part of the group.
