Russia blames Belarus again
18 tons of Ukrainian tomatoes, re-exported from Belarus, were blocked by Russia on October 10.
They were supplied from Belarus and are infected with thrips, the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate claims.
The tomatoes had a re-export certificate issued in Minsk. The inspectorate asked the Chief State Inspectorate for Plants Protection not to allow re-exports from Belarus more than a month ago.
Moscow is ‘concerned’ about the situation and may introduce additional measures to prevent such incidents, BelaPAN reports.
