State employees’ salaries, pensions and grants increase in Belarus
The first-rate base wage rate was increased from 262 to 275 thousand roubles on May 1.
It will let increase state employees salaries (about 850 thousand people), students’ grants and assistance received by interns, BELTA reports.
The increase is small but it happens regularly (see video), Minister of Labour and Social Protection Mariana Shchotkina told ONT.
The base wage rate was increased on April 1 last time and the children’s social assistance was increased on February 1.
