Washington prepares new Russia sanctions
The USA is planning to impose sanctions on the financial, energy and defence sectors.
Deputy spokesperson for the US Department of State Marie Harf has announced it, censor.net.ua reports.
“The United States is finalizing measures to both deepen and broaden our sanctions across Russia's financial, energy and defence sectors”, Harf noted. Washington is in close coordination with the European Union on this, she added. Washington insisted on the EU and USA imposing new sanctions on Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine earlier.
