Yermakova: Buying fertilizers may devalue rouble
The head of the National Bank has commented on the possibility of devaluation of the Belarusian rouble.
"We have no need to devalue the rouble at the moment," SB.Belarus Today quotes Nadzeya Yermakova. "However, if we need to buy fertilizers and spare parts for farming machines before the sowing campaign, our rouble may devalue a bit. The exchange rate should not reach 9 thousands."
Yermakova admitted that denomination may be possible in 2014 if the inflation forecast of 12% is true this year.
