Young man who brought Russian flag to Minsk streets on October 11 is detained
The police have detained the young man who was provoking the participants of the unauthorized protest action with the help of a Russian flag on the evening of October 11, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihar Shunevich said.
Adherents of the opposition came to the centre of Minsk after the presidential election and walked from October Square towards Independence Square. A young man with a Russian flag on his shoulders was provoking the action participants.
The young man was detained for being drunk in a public place and for order violation, the Minister said. Shunevich does not know whether this person is a Belarusian or Russian citizen.
