Airplane collision in Kiev, Belarusian plane involved (photo)

Two airplanes collided near Borispol, Ukraine, on February 19. The airplane An-26B EW-246TG (it has a Belarusian flag on it) was being prepared for a technical test. According to the website aviation-safety.net, the AN-26B EW-246TG belongs to the company Genex Ltd. registered in Belarus.

The engines started working and the plane moved due to a mistake. It collided with a Yak-40 UR-MIG. An investigation has been started.

The planes collided in Borispol. That part of the airport is served by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
