Employee of Minsk Maskouski District Department of the Interior Mihalyonak has been punished for swearing at Hanna Lahatskaya. An audio recording helped the woman to prove that she was right.

"It is forbidden to use dictaphones there but I did not know about it. But for the recording, I would have kept silent and would have left without being able to prove anything. He confessed and apologized. I am satisfied to see that he has been punished. I will also demand compensation for moral damage,” Halina said.

Halina Lahatskaya came to Minsk Maksouski District Department of the Interior to talk to the administration. She wanted to ask them not to fine her for participation in a non-freeloaders’ action because she did not think that she was guilty of anything. Deputy head of the police department Mikalai Rudnitski ousted the woman from his study and ordered his subordinated Mihalyonak to make her leave the building. The latter used force and bad language to do it.

Halina recoded everything:

The Investigation Committee conducted a check-up and admitted that Mihalyonak’s behavior had been inappropriate. The policeman has been deprived of his monthly bonus.

У выніку праверкі Следчы камітэт прызнаў факт некарэктных паводзінаў Міхалёнка. Міліцыянера пазбавілі прэміі за месяц а таксама выклікалі на таварыскі суд.
