Apart from them, the band Coldplay has won in the nomination "Best British Group", and the band One Direction has made it in the nomination "Best British Single" (What Makes You Beautiful). The jury have decided that Rihanna has been the best "International Female Solo Artist", while Bruno Mars has been consiredered the best "International Male Artist". Foo Fighters have become the best "International Group", and Lana Del Ray has got the award for "International Breakthrough Act".

Blur have got the special award for outstanding contribution to music. As for the nomination "Critics Choice", Scottish R&B and soul singer Emeli Sandé has won it.
