Lazavik: No need to impose secret vote

The law makes people vote secretly. And this is not right. CEC secretary Makalai Lazavik has commented on the TV report where one could see the ballot paper of an elector who voted at home.

Mikalai Lazavik: "All our work is focused on forcing people to vote secretly. But why do we have to do it?! " Maybe people want to show that they vote for a certain candidate because they think that he or she is a decent person."

Thus, the CEC secretary avoided answering the question whether the report was a law violation.

Meanwhile, such a report can be considered open agitation. But no agitation is allowed on the election day.
