Ukraine bans import of swine, pork, sausages from Belarus

Chernihiv and Zhytomyr borders of Ukraine banned import of goods that undergo veterinary and sanitary control, from Belarus to the territory of Ukraine.



According to the press-office of the State Customs Committee of Belarus, the ban includes alive swine, other alive animals, pork, fat, meat and sausages. The full list is available here.



Euroradio reminds, Russia banned import of swine and pork from Belarus totally since August 30. The reason is claimed to be the African swine fever, recorded in our country. It is informed that these limitations will be in force either till the disease is liquidated at the territory of our country, or the rules for identification of the sanitary status of Belarusian swine production farms are set.
