KGB 'mole' sentenced to 15 years in prison for spying

A 'mole' from the Belarusian KGB has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for spying. Wife of the convicted intelligence officer whom he 'drew into the illegal activities' received the same sentence. On June 11, in the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Belarusian KGB Valer Vakulchyk told the reporters about the case.
Mr Vakulchyk: "The KGB is not an exception among the intelligence services, which have traitors. As a result, we have developed a system of measures that allowed us to detect a serviceman, who collaborated with foreign intelligence. He also drew his wife into the spying activities. We prevented them from leaving the country and fully documented their illegal activities. They were detained at the scene, their guilt was proven in court - both were sentenced to 15 years in prison."
The first to mention the "mole" in the Belarusian KGB was Alyaksandr Lukashenka, but only now the informatin has been confirmed.
