Minsk: Independence Ave to be repaired in June
The road movement will be partially blocked: from crossroads to crossroads.
Euroradio has learnt this from the Administration for Road and Bridge Construction and Accomplishment which is doing the work.
The Administration's employee: "The repair intervals have passed, there is a necessity to start now. The Independence Square has been repaired from the one side already, including asphalt milling and replacement of engineer communications."
On May 16, the traffic movement in the area from Lenin Street to Svyardlou Street will be restricted again, informs the Administration.
Euroradio reminds, on May 15 the repair works in Minsk's main avenue caused a traffic collapse. There were traffic jams in Svyardlou Street, Karl Marx Street, Leningradskaya Street, Valadarski Street and others.
