Minsk officials: Tsentralny supermarket to stay open for now

Earlier this week, social networks reported that there would be a restaurant and casino in the place of Tsentralny supermarket in Minsk. Chief Department of Consumer Market of City Executive Committee assured Euroradio that the store would remain in the same place and information about the opening of the gambling site is false. 

The department employee: "Yesterday we spoke with the director, there are no plans to close yet. If this happens, you will immediately get the information. So far, there is no information about the repair or restoration. This store has a historical significance."
