China is set to start assembling posh cars in Belarus. Briillianse BiS6 is positioned as an alternative to the world famous Audi, Mercedes and BMW, but is significantly cheaper (around $30,000). The Chinese target both private and corporate clients, including the government agencies.
Assembling the vehicle in Belarus will also provide the Chinese with an opporunity to get closer to their main target -- Western Europe. The assembly of Briillianse BiS6 will be launched this year.
In 2008, an auto-making plant with the output capacity of at least 50,000 cars per yer will be constructed in Belarus, reports Interfax news agency.
