A member of the China's Communist Party has been expelled from the party ranks for having spent a night with a Russian woman. The high-ranking official, who serves as the deputy secretary of the party's disciplinary commission, was caught red-handed in a Beijing hotel.

The official was in the capital on a duty trip. Investigators have already opened a probe in his possible financial wrong-doings, according to Reuters.
