15:38 Belarus signs new agreements with India
The Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka carried out negotiations with the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his official two-day visit to India.
A number of agreements were signed as a result of the negotiations, for example, the agreement about giving out criminals, agreement on agriculture, an international programme on cooperation in the field of culture, art, education and mass media.
A programme of Belarusian-Indian cooperation in the field of science for the period between 2007 and 2011 was also signed.
Furthermore, a protocol about the end of negotiations concerning entering the World Trade Organization between Belarus and India was signed there.
