16:14 Belarus 'blacklists' 80,000 people
Passport controls have been reinforced at Belarusian airports, after a new equipment allows detecting fake passports in less than a minute. A special software also helps to check of a passenger is entered in the so called "black list".
This list currently includes over 80,000 people, including those not allowed to enter Belarus or those wanted by the international police or the Belarusian citizens that possess national secrets and cannot leave the country.
This year, the Belaurian border guards have reported 18 cases when fake passports were used in order to enter this country. Most of the detainees are Asians and Africans, according to ont.by
