18:41 Milinkevich calls on UNESCO to save Hrodna's historical center

Alexander Milinkevich has appealed to UNESCO, requesting this world organizations to prevent the extintion of historical and architectural sites in the western Belarusian city of Hrodna. The politician believes that earlier hopes for the reconstruction of the old-town part would be carried out in accordance with international obligations and heritage protection laws, have not come true.

The talks between the representatives of the civil society and the city's authorities have failed.
