5 antifascists detained for fighting neo-Nazis in Brest
The victim had to undergo a spleen removal surgery after the fight.
The incident occurred near the restaurant Ararat on the eve of Victory Day. A neo-Nazi passing the antifascists raised his hand and shouted out the Nazi greeting , TUT.BY reports. One of the participants of the fight received severe bodily injuries.
Over 10 people took part in the fight, 4 were injured, the police reports. One of the victims has had his spleen removed. A criminal case for armed fighting has been started. One of the participants used tear gas.
Five people have been detained and 3 are wanted. The detained antifascists’ friends say that the guys’ flats have been searched. The police confiscated computers and books.
If the young men are retuned guilty, they may be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
