8 people saved from fire in Minsk (photo)
Two people remain in a very serious condition after rescue, having suffered burns and smoke poisoning.
Rescuers received a report about the fire in Karastayanava Street, 23a on the evening of November 13. Neighbours noticed it.
Rescuers found out that a one-room flat in the seventh floor was on fire, press sectary of Minsk City Department of the Emergency Control Ministry told Minsk-News.
Rescuers saved 8 and evacuated 27 people. Two of them are in a very serious condition now. Three elderly men were injured and poisoned with smoke. They were drunk. The men were taken to hospital.
The reason for the fire is being investigated now.
