Aleh Trusau releases book on Belarus in ethnographic borders
The Minsk-based publishing house Knihazbor has released Aleh Trusau's Unknown Country. Belarus in its Ethnographical Measures. In the 152-page illustrated edition, the archeologist and architecture historian, publicist and civic activist narrates about the statehoods of Belarusians which official historians do not consider our national heritage. In an interview with Belapan, Trusau expressed hope that schoolbooks would soon mention the parts of Belarus that remained outside the former borders of USSR as well as other statehoods apart from Polatsk Kingdom, Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Belarusian People's Republic and Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic.
