All Belarusian nameboards changed to Russian in Pinsk (photo)
Pinsk authorities have ordered to exchange all Belarusian nameboards to Russian. The names of Pinsk streets used to be written either in Belarusian or in both state languages. However, the local authorities are getting ready for the national census and they have decided “to put street names in good order” and to make a general registry of the names. Furthermore, additional money has been allocated to replace all nameboards.
