Alyaksandr Rybak — “Eurovision” winner
The Belarusian-Norwegian has scored a record number of points ever registered at the contest. 15 countries including Belarus gave him the highest score.
Alyaksandr has scored 386 points, Iceland was second with 218 points and Azerbaijan was third.
A press conference where journalists bombed Alyaksandr Rybak with questions took place right after his victory at “Eurovision”. Answering one of them, our compatriot said:
“The fact that I was born in Belarus helped me. Thank you, Belarus, I am very happy!”
