Arms dealer from Belarus arrested in Moscow
An arms dealer from Belarus was detained in Moscow, Russian law-enforcement agencies said. According to a source, a 50-year-old who arrived by train to Moscow from the Belarusian city of Orsha was detained on November 9 at 0630 at the Belorusskaya metro station. During the search, a Makarov pistol, a Nagan revolver, 200 rounds of 7.62 mm calibre and 13 rounds of 9mm calibre were found on the man and seized by the agents.
During the raid in the apartment that the Belarusian rented in Moscow, a TT pistol and 37 rounds, a F-1 grenade and almost 100 rounds of various calibres. Besides, security operatives impounded a fake ID of an officer of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB).
The detainee was taken to pretrial custody and is facing criminal charges.
