Belarus discusses Russian ‘food’ sanctions with Poland
Meetings dedicated to cooperation in agriculture will be held soon.
The agreement was reached during a task meeting of the two states’ Ministers of Agriculture in Hrodna District, BELTA reports.
Belarusian Minister of Agriculture Leanid Zayats and his Polish counterpart Marek Savitski discussed various agricultural issues on August 14. Most attention was paid to the problem of the Russian embargo on food supplies from the EU and some other states.
The Minister discussed the possibility of attracting Polish investments to Belarus’ agriculture in order to enhance cooperation.
