Belarusian Christian Democracy's application handling delayed by anonymous letter
Justice Minister Viktar Halavanau
on Wednesday told Pavel Sevyarynets and Dzyanis Sadouski, leaders of the Belarusian
Christian Democracy, that the handling of the party's application for
registration was being delayed because the agency had received an anonymous letter. "The minister told us that
they had received an anonymous letter and he let us read it. It says that the
founders were angered by the justice ministry's probe and that they had
attended all party conventions," Sadouski told ERB.
On April 15, the ministry
suspended its decision to deny registration citing the letter.
