Belarusian frontier guards’ unique crossover stuck in swamp (video)

The vehicle got stuck in a big hole in the landscape reserve Almanskiya Baloty. Frontier guards managed to take it out of the road trap only three days later. The crossover was sent to Minsk. The producer will improve the vehicle there.

The MZKT-500200 was made at Minsk wheel-type tractor plant to replace Russian GAZ-66 and GAZ-3308 Sadko used by the Border Committee now. The vehicle is meant to transport 21 people and three tons of cargo across the country.

Two samples of the vehicle were produced. They were sent to Hrodna and Pinsk frontier posts for a test drive. The crossover was demonstrated to the public on July 3, 2013 when it headed a column of military machines at the Independence Day parade.
