The centre of Minsk and a number of other districts of the capital are blacked out. The emergency service of Minsk heat power plants has informed that the reason for it was an accident at the heat power plant-3. The black out in the capital started at about 5.35 p.m. The electricity disappeared for only a split second in some districts. The city centre where the governmental offices are situated is still blacked out.

A number of houses at Independence Square, Partyzanski Square and other districts are also blacked out.
