Brest Region ideologist urges journalists to be more critical

Alyaksandr Rahachuk, the head of Brest Region Executive Committee’s ideology department has met young journalists of printed editions. He said he was “their father” and urged them to write more critical articles as they “aroused more trust in the population”. Mr.Rahachyk did not speak Belarusian that time. Meanwhile, the initiative of Brest ideologists to make officials speak Belarusian one day a week is well-known. Alyaksandr Rahachuk was the only official who wished Brest Region inhabitants Happy New Year and Christmas in Belarusian on TV last year.
