British parliamentary delegation to visit Belarus
A delegation from the British House of Lords led by Cecil Parkinson is expected on March 9-11 to pay a visit to Belarus.
According to the press office of the Council of the Republic, the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament, the British delegation will meet with Mikalai Chahrynets, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and National Security Committee at the Council of the Republic.
The sides are expected to discuss the condition and prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation. According to preliminary reports, the British parliamentary delegation will also have meetings at the Council of Ministers, the National Bank, the Ministry of Economy and to visit several Belarusian enterprises, reports Belapan.
