Darya Domrachava ill with mononucleosis
The disease could knock the Belarus biathlon star off the training schedule for a month.
Belarusian biathlete Darya Domrachava has been down with mononucleosis, the athlete wrote in her Instagram.
"Mononucleosis ... I have heard about it before... Not the most pleasant diagnosis ... Hi everyone, and please do not worry, the acute stage is over ... Medical advice: rest and outdoor exercise ... There is now a chance to enjoy summer."
Mononucleosis is an infectious disease with no specific treatment, but doctors recommend limiting physical activity for 1-1.5 months.
