Donets Basin contact group negotiations over in Minsk
The next meeting has been appointed for September 8.
The negotiations of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine ended in Minsk. The next meeting will be held on September 8, information agencies report.
The political subgroup will meet weekly in September, OSCE representative Martin Sajdik told journalists. “All the sides have agreed to cease fire. It is essential that everyone stuck to the commitments. Further shooting will not solve the problem and will give no prospects to the Ukrainian people,” BELTA quotes the diplomat.
The economic subgroup has managed to agree on the restoration of railway traffic in two areas of Lugansk Oblast, Ukraine, interfax.by reports. “It has made coal supplies possible,” Sajdik said.
