eBay sells Skype for $2bn
The internet auction eBay has sold the voice and video service Skype. Under the deal, eBay will get from new owners over $2 billion. Skype is valued at $2.75 billion. Silver Lake Partners will own 70 percent of the company, with eBay keeping 30 percent.
