New Russia sanctions approved by EU, embargoed for 7 days

The EU Foreign Ministers have approved new Russia sanctions, French Minister for Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius said. The sanctions may be imposed next Monday, RBK reports.

The Ministers’ decision will depend on the results in the Norman meeting in Minsk on February 11 – the leaders if Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France will take part in it.

19 more people (5 of them are Russians) and 9 organizations (one of them is Russian) are going to be included on the EU black list. There are no high-ranking officials among them, Reuters reports.
