European Union supports human rights defenders
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton has declared that the European Union pays tribute to human rights defenders worldwide. The announcement has been made in Brussels today, on December 10, reports Radio Liberty. This year’s announcement highlights the struggle against discrimination. It is stressed that the the struggle against all forms of discrimination is a priority for the European Union.
