Expert: Russia may simply lack money for credits
Mihail Kudrin’s statement about Belarus’ insolvency is odious and it is our country that should lodge complaints against Russia about “the grey import”. This is the opinion of the dean of the economic faculty of BSU Mihail Kavalyou. Mihail Kavalyou: “Kudrin has always been notorious for his unexpected statements. I can only say that the words are not true and Belarus has no real problems with its balance of payment. Probably, it would be good to slow down “the grey import” from Russia”.
On the other hand, Mihail Kavalyou stressed that Russia may lack money for credits.
Mihail Kavalyou: “I think that Russia used its reserves rashly and I do not exclude that it may lack a few hundreds of million dollars to give a credit”.
