Famous Belarus born lawyer Mikhail Gafstein dies in Moscow
A famous 76-year-old lawyer Mikhail Gafstein has died in Moscow. He was born in Belarus and went to study in Moscow Law Institute after the war.
Gaftsein went to Bulgaria when the life of Pope John Paul II was attempted in 1981.
He helped Italian lawyers defend a Bulgarian accused of the crime. Gafstein was awarded the Gold award of Bulgarian lawyers for it, reports “Rosbalt”.
