Fans raise money to help Belarus-Macedonia match detainees pay fines
Football fans have raised money to help the people detained at Belarus-Macedonia match of the European Cup on October 12 pay their fines.
The sum was collected on October 15, the fan site belultras.by reports. Over 200 people have donated money to the detained fans.
The police detained three fans wearing Pahonya scarves on October 13. They accused them of swearing and disobedience to the police. The fans spent the night in jail in Barysau and were fined by the local court on October 14. Each of them was fined for Br1.8 million roubles.
Vital Budzko, an old time (30 years) fan, and opposition activist Zmitser Hvedaruk were among the detained. By the way, Hrodna FC Nyoman officially expressed its doubt about their fan’s bad behaviour.
