Football: BATE set to consolidate victory in Borisov
FC BATE Borisov had a comfortable 2:0 away win over Macedonia Skopije in the first leg match of the Champions League second qualification round on Tuesday. Siarhei Kryvets who netted a goal in Skopije told Euroradio that the victory was not that easy despite the final score.
"Well, the victory was hard fought, taking into account the weather conditions: hot and wet. But, the mood is definitely positive. We won away 2:0. I think we have the edge, but everything depends on us, especially when we are to play at home."
The second-leg match will take place at the Borisov Stadium on July 21.
