2 dead after foreign bus and car collide in Belarus (photo)
The accident occurred on the Vitsebsk-Homel highway in Byhau District at 12 a.m. on February 10.
A Hyundai Matrix collided with a Neoplan bus there. The latter turned over. There were 23 people in the Russian bus heading for Kiev and Odessa from Saint Petersburg – 13 Russians, 9 Ukrainians and 1 Moldavian. They received light injuries and refused to go to hospital.
The driver and passenger of the Hyundai Matrix (both Ukrainian citizens) have died, the ECM press service reports. The details of the tragedy are being studied. The bus passengers will be taken to Ukraine by a reserve bus that has arrived at Byhau from Minsk.
