Former director of Pinsk amusement park suspected of stealing three merry-go-rounds
Brest Region Office of the Public Prosecutor has started a criminal case against a former director of Pinsk amusement park.
According to the park reconstruction plan, old attractions installed in the 70s should be replaced. However, only three merry-go-rounds out of the ordered six have been delivered to Pinsk. The rest “were lost” somewhere although the money was paid in 2007. 188 million roubles was allocated from the budget then.
The Office of the Public Prosecutor thinks that the director deliberately prepaid although he knew that the equipment would not be delivered to Pinsk.
