Former director of “Zhdanovichy” returns 85 billion rubles to state
A former director of “Zhdanovichy” firm Yauhen Shyhalau has completely compensated for the state’s losses caused by him. The deputy director of the Belarusian attorney general Victar Konan has claimed it. According to BelTA, Shyhalau has returned 85 billion rubles to the budget.
Let us remind you that all charges were dismissed from the former director of “Zhdanovichy” firm on condition that he would compensate for all the losses. He was detained on April 5, 2008. Shyhalau was accused of power abuse which resulted in grave consequences that accused great losses for the state. In particular, his unauthorized construction of objects on the territory of the trade complex was mentioned in the case.
