There were 52 people in the bus that was transporting Belarusian tourists to a Bulgarian seaside resort: 2 drivers and 50 passengers. Most of them were children from a dance ensemble and their parents.
The bus collided head-on with a Ukrainian jitney 8 km away from Kovel.
Seven people died: six Ukrainian citizens and a Belarusian child. 25 people ere injured and taken to Kovel hospital.
The other passengers were settled in local hotels.
All the tourists are going to return to Belarus, representative of the company Belfresh the organized the trip said. “A bus has been prepared for those who can return,” BelaPAN quotes her.
